Overview
GM Computing can provide bespoke software for pretty well any application, other than web-based applications in which I lack experience. I write software in the following languages:
To illustrate the broad experience I have, a few examples of previous work are:
PC Emulation of an assembler/disassembler for the Sperry 1412 computer written in Boreland ANSI C and Turbo-assembler.
Comprehensive DOS word processor written entirely in A86 Assembler. (Copies of the source code for this are available on request).
Simulators of of many kinematic, sensor, communications and command systems written in Microsoft ANSI C and Visual C++.
A message-driven dynamic 2D mapping display system written in Visual C++
A motor body-shop progress manager written in Quick Basic and A86 assembler.
I wrote my first computer program (“hello world”) in 1967 on an Elliot 803 computer in Elliot Autocode. The computer used paper tape and teleprinter input/output with 4KBytes (yes KBytes) of memory, and no disk storage.
